February e-Newsletter

I am often asked what I do in the winter, since my business deals mainly with the other three seasons.  To be honest, I usually lay around for the first week or two.  When I get antsy, I launch into my “winter research mode”.   This is my time to research new products that I feel are useful and affordable.  As a result, I have added a number of new products to the website, and highlighted them below.

1.               Composters – I added a new category to the website for composters. These composters will fit any need:  outdoor composter, indoor composter, and pet waste composter.  I am especially excited about the kitchen composter as it opens the opportunity for urban dwellers to join those of us who compost.

2.               Bug Killer – Sharp Shooter is an all-natural insect killer spray.  Produced by St. Gabriels, it is as high quality as their other pest and animal products.  It kills bugs on contact.  It is safe to use in the kitchen, near pets and kids.

3.               PreMerge – Corn gluten is a natural weed preventer.  The small bag is just the right size for landscaped areas.  Now we have the 20-pound bag for larger areas.

4.              DeThatch – If you have a thatch build-up problem in your lawn, this liquid lawn spray is what you need.  Biological DeThatcher adds natural enzymes to the lawn, which are necessary for the quick break down of thatch.

In addition to adding quality products, I have also added a Resource section to the website.  The items that will be posted in this section are the monthly newsletters along with ecologically minded articles.  New articles will be added on a regular basis.   Please visit this area of the website and feel free to share the information provided with your friends.
