All of our liquid fertilizers are supplemented with a natural nutrient package derived from Seaweed, Humic Acids, and Molasses. What this means to you is that you are getting a soil improving fertilizer with added vitamins, bio-stimulants, and trace elements. Each product contains vitamins B-1, B-12, gibberellins, indoles, auxins as well as trace elements of boron, iron, zinc, cobalt, copper, manganese, molybdenum and sulfur.
The nutrients in our liquid fertilizers are chelated, meaning they are instantly available to the plant. Our NPK sources are salt and chlorine free, which means safe for the plant and soil. In fact, all our raw materials used in our liquid fertilizers are classed as food grade materials.
Our liquid fertilizers can be applied through any type of garden sprayer or fertigation equipment. For smaller areas you can use a watering can if that is more convenient. All of our fertilizers are compatible with our AERIFY - Liquid Soil Aerator and Clay Loosener. You can also use our fertilizers to foliar feed your plants. For foliar feeding, use the lighter application rate listed on the label directions. Use a fine mist sprayer for foliar feeding. Mornings and early evenings are the best times for foliar spraying.
Foliar Feeding Information and Tips
Foliar (through the leaves) feeding is a great way to get more from your lawns and plantings - even those that have already been fertilized through the ground. Nutrients (including the micronutrients and humates we add to all our fertilizers) sprayed correctly on leaves are absorbed quickly and are distributed throughout the whole plant or tree within minutes. This means that you only have to spray some of the leaves to get nutrients to all of the plant, including the roots. This can boost plant health and production dramatically. So, whether you want greener grass, more flowers, more fruits or vegetables, or just more growth from a plant, foliar feeding every two weeks is a great technique for serious gardeners.
Spray early to late morning for better absorption. Early evening is the next best time.
Only spray plants that have been watered regularly and are not under drought stress.
Avoid spraying during the heat of the day or the spray can evaporate before it is absorbed.
Add some soap to help the spray spread and stick better. A fine mist spray sticks best, but hose-end sprayers can be effective if done a little more heavily and during the right time of day.
Try to reach the underside of leaves because that is where most of the pores (stomata) are.
BIO-ENHANCED 16-4-8 FOR LAWNS
This fertilizer is for lawn or plants that require higher amounts of nitrogen. It gets plants growing and green. Nutrients are immediately available. Use the 16-4-8 as needed to supplement a granular (preferably organic) fertilizing program. If your soil is healthy and high in organic matter you should be able to use it as your sole lawn fertilizer.
Apply to turf at 4-5 oz per 1000 sf. every 2 weeks or (for healthier turf) 8-10 oz every 4 weeks.
For foliar feeding of non-blooming shrubs, houseplants, veggies, trees or other garden plants apply at 1-2 oz per gallon of water or 1 tablespoon per quart of water. (See Foliar Feeding Information and Tips above)
