Insect Dust (Diatomaceous Earth or DE) is odorless and nontoxic. This remarkable, all-natural product is so safe it may be rubbed right into your dog or cat’s fur. It is composed of tiny fossilized water plants. The consistency is that of white powder. Insects come in contact with this powder and die of dehydration within 48 hours.
Targeted crawling pests include: ants, bedbugs, box elder bugs, carpet beetles, centipedes, crickets, cockroaches, earwigs, fleas, grasshoppers, millipedes, slugs, silverfish and ticks. Replaces Diazinon and other harsh chemicals.
For indoor applications, simply sprinkle a light layer of Insect Dust (DE) in areas where pests frequent, including under stoves, cabinets, sinks, garbage cans, window and door frames and sills, entrance ways, sewer pipes and drains, and in cracks and crevices. Insect Dust (DE) may also be used outdoors in the garden and in the lawn. Application is generally done with a hand duster. Repeat treatment as needed.
Insect Dust (DE) is available in a 4.4 pound bag and treats 1,800 square feet.
